Corsair steps up the game with the unveiling of cutting-edge iCUE LINK RX series fans

CORSAIR has unveiled the latest addition to its innovative iCUE LINK ecosystem, introducing the high-performance iCUE LINK RX Series cooling fans. This new line, announced on February 27th, 2024, emphasizes CORSAIR’s ongoing commitment to pushing the boundaries of DIY PC components. The RX Series fans, designed with CORSAIR’s proprietary Magnetic Dome bearings, AirGuide technology, and custom-engineered fan blades, are optimized for maximum cooling efficiency and suitable for both radiator and case cooling solutions.

These fans stand out for their exceptional build quality and airflow efficiency, a result of extensive R&D and the use of advanced materials such as Liquid Crystal Polymer in the non-RGB versions. The series also boasts digital control via the iCUE LINK ecosystem, allowing for precise fan speed adjustments up to 2,100 RPM for 120mm models and 1,700 RPM for 140mm models, with both preset and customizable fan curves available through the CORSAIR iCUE software.

“We made it our mission to create a fan that could achieve top performance as either a radiator fan or a case fan,” said Aaron Neal, Director of DIY Product Marketing at CORSAIR. “We also wanted to incorporate iCUE LINK technology for the best possible build experience. With the RX Series, we believe we’ve hit all of those criteria and more.”.

The iCUE LINK ecosystem, praised for making PC assembly more straightforward and efficient by standardizing connectors across components, offers smart, bi-directional communication through a single System Hub. This significantly cuts down on build times and simplifies cable management, making PC building more accessible.

The RX RGB fans are available in black and white, whereas the non-RGB RX fans come in a stealth black option. Starter kits include either three 120mm fans or two 140mm fans plus an iCUE LINK System Hub, with single fan expansion kits also available for extending your cooling setup.
